Wind Fence Product Instructions & Pictures

DIRECTIONS

Portable wind fence partsTools needed: one hammer

•  Lay the netting on the ground (seamed side down) in the location and direction you wish to erect it.

•  Spray the inside of the couplers on the end of the pipe with DW40 or some other spray lubricant. This will make it easier to take disassemble the unit later. Join a piece of pipe with a white corner coupler attached to another piece of pipe making one of your 5' vertical support legs. Do the same thing with the other piece that has the corner coupler attached, creating the second leg for the opposite side. Take these two support legs and insert them into the end pockets of the netting. Position them so the open end of the couplers face the center of the net.

•  Next, join the piece of pipe with the white T coupler attached to it, to another piece of pipe. This is your 5' center leg. Lay it on the center of the net. Always position it on the downwind side of the net.

•  Now join two more pieces of pipe. Insert one end into a corner coupler and the other end into one side of the T coupler. Repeat this process on the other side to complete the 10' horizontal support bar.

•  With a hammer, pound the three pieces of rebar 5"- 8" into the ground - each one directly in line with one of the white couplers. Do this with due care so as not to injure yourself.

•  You may now need a second person to help lift the fence in order to slide the three legs of pipe over the three pieces of rebar you have pounded into the ground.

•  Finally, take the four Hook & Loop straps and at even intervals, as in the picture, insert them through the notches at the top of the wind netting (two on each side of the T coupler). Cinch them securely to the net, then wrap the strap over the horizontal pipe to support and secure it.

•  Dismantling: Unstrap the Hook & Loop but leave it cinched to the netting. Lift the frame and net off the rebar and lay it down. Slip the netting off the frame. Dismantle the frame. Store the rebar in the pieces of pipe with the corner and T couplers attached. This will prevent damage to the bottom of your storage bag. Fold the netting. Place all pieces back in the storage bag ready for the next use!
